Loving these photos with Claudia Schiffer from Buenos Aires. Karl Lagerfeld for Chanel. Really like the atmosphere and I could do with one of the black dresses and looove the beige jacket. With jeans and white vest...hm
Yesterday reading decor8 I noticed a great interview and home tour with Sara Hicks Malone and here it was a tiny reflection in a mirror of my Angel Heart Picture. I know you can hardly see it but I remembered Sara'shometour on design sponge( the second photo, where you can see it better:) and I was so pleased that she still has it on her fireplace. It was the second time I saw one of my pictures on design sponge, the first one was Max Wagner hometour(the third photo - Large Falling Heart) and these things really make my day. So please if you are one of my customers or received one of my pictures as a gift send me a photo. I would love to see it! But anyway both of those homes are stunning so go and see!
I have been collecting inspirational photos for our new bathroom last couple of weeks. I especially like combination of white, green/ grey and wood. So nothing new for me:) I'd love to use metro ( subway tiles) for the shower, perhaps in green or blue but also like marble, pricey, but looks stunning. Thinking white marble floor, white or green/ grey painted walls and colored shower metro tiles. What do you think? have you got any experience with marble, how easy is to maintain it?
sorry I forgot to note images sources ( but some are Living etc. MarieClare...)
Hi! how are you? Our loft extension is in full speed, surrounded by scaffolding, moving things around the house ( again, I know) trying to find space for all that very important stuff and creating a new work space for me. Yuppie! I'm actually sitting in my new room right now and feels so good. Not really a new room, it's one of our bedrooms but as we are creating a new one, possible two at the top I couldn't wait and move in:) I will post some photos soon. Between painting, clearing and organizing we also had a nice weekend with another long autumn walk, visiting Winkworth Arborethum. Note the second photo, colour matching outfit ( blue door - blue jeans, red leaves - red boots:) only just noticed...
Do you sometimes think that magazine styling is just a bit too much? head over to Catalogue Living ...love it!
Sometimes, Gary explained to Elaine, a man just needs to grab one of his books under glass, sit under his antlers, and relax.
Despite Elaine’s simple instructions (position 2 wooden pedestals on the table so that the smaller is rotated 45 degrees and tucked slightly under the larger one, top both with leaves and put just cheese on one and just figs on the other), Gary still managed to screw it up.
Upon entering the living room, guests are often torn as to whether Gary and Elaine deeply love America or are Russian spies.
Gary always resented the bird for being the least useful of the living room wildlife.
"an opportunity to slow down and appreciate the simple, everyday things that make life beautiful. 10 photographers. 10 photos each. All taken on 10/10/10. A single day represented in 100 photographs. No special occasion, no big event, just the essence of daily life captured through ten lenses. The 1010 project was devised as an antidote to everything in modern life always having to be bigger, better, louder and brighter than what’s been before. "
Series of disposable tableware designed by Japanese studio Simplicity. Very beautiful. Can't believe it's made of paper! wasara
found via lushleeand thank you Danielle from style files for mentioning my work:)
There is something very comforting about these photos. Love the colours and mood. Weather is getting chilly in England, A. has her first cold, wrapped up under blankets, reading books and browsing wedding blogs. So much inspiration, wonderful styling and ideas. And love that dress! I wouldn't mind to get married again in frock like this:)
